Senior Application Support Analyst (ASP 6)

Initial Contract: 12 months

Our client is looking for a Senior Application Support Analyst (ASP6)
Duties:

• Employ technical expertise and specialised knowledge of business rules to investigate and resolve issues within ICT systems.
• Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with business staff, technical teams, and customers.
• Collaborate closely and communicate clearly with multiple internal stakeholders and external vendors to identify and rectify issues.
• Apply and guide best practices using the ITIL methodology, utilising an IT Service Management (ITSM) system to investigate, triage, and resolve incidents and service requests across Level 1 to Level 2 queues.
• Validate complex business problems by distinguishing between system issues (IT) and operational issues related to business rules.
• Conduct data analysis and reporting in Excel, including the identification of trends and root causes within data.
• Understand and support the replication and testing of issues to facilitate System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Build Verification Testing (BVT).
• Perform tasks necessary to support release cycles, ensuring alignment with business functions.
• Mentor team members on best standards and support practices for Business Applications.

Essential Criteria:

• Possess 5 years or more of experience in an ICT support role.
• Demonstrate experience in supporting either SAP or Salesforce platforms.
• Exhibit experience in using an ICT Service Management Tool and the ability to apply ITIL methodology for incident management.
• Demonstrate the ability to liaise with and manage internal and external stakeholders to achieve business outcomes.

Desirable Criteria:

• Display comfort with innovative approaches to accessibility and show enthusiasm for accessible design and development (considered highly advantageous).
• Demonstrate the ability to analyze and report on data using Microsoft Excel.
