In adition to diverse local projects our client engages in a significant number projects supporting the Development Goals of emerging Pacific nations.
The successful candidate will lead their team in a highly efficient manner which includes mentoring and overviewing Architects and junior staff as appropriate to meet deadlines and project requirements. As a key member of the business, it is expected that this position achieves and maintains the outcomes and objectives of the Discipline in an open and constructive manner.
The successful applicant will be:
Proactive, quality output focussed, have excellent attention to detail, be highly organised and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated experience delivering projects using current Australian & New Zealand Building Codes and referenced Standards are essential.
and also should have:
Ability to incorporate local design & cultural influences into projects is essential.
Qualifications/Experience required from a recognised Tertiary qualification in Architecture from Australia or New Zealand are preferable.
A demonstrated understanding of seismic design principles is preferred.
A solid, demonstrated construction documentation experience across a variety of building types including - Medical, Commercial, Retail, Education; & Public Infrastructure
A proficient understanding and demonstrated practical application using the following software platforms to deliver projects- REVIT, AutoCAD, MS Office 365 Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop/InDesign/Illustrator/Acrobat & Lumion
A Minimum 10+ years of project delivery experience in Australia and NZ is required.
Pacific project experience would be ideal but not essential”
