What this opportunity involves:
We are seeking a Senior Architect to join our dynamic and growing design team. This role is for a permanent, full-time position to lead small to medium projects from inception to completion. It has a strong focus on institutional projects, predominantly in the Defence sector. You will be a motivated and self-driven individual with excellent communication and coordination skills.
A snapshot of the role:

  • Taking the lead in multiple small and medium projects throughout Australia
  • External client and stakeholder liaison, ensuring brief requirements are met, and feedback is accurately interpreted and incorporated
  • Consultant coordination, ensuring the Architectural design intent in maintained
  • Internal team resourcing and coordination to design, develop and deliver documentation at all stages of multiple projects
  • Attending design and site meetings when required across Australia

  • You must be an Australian Citizen in order to comply with our client’s requirement with the ability to successfully gain and retain baseline security clearance
  • Relevant Qualifications in Architecture
  • Registered Architects are preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience
  • Proven experience in running, managing, and delivering projects. This includes working with clients, stakeholders, consultants, and team members across all stages of projects.
  • Organised with strong time management skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Ability to resolve complex challenges.
  • Excellent communication and presentations skills in written, graphic, and verbal format
  • Revit proficiency is preferred.
  • Defence project experience is preferred.
  • Excellent understanding of building regulations (NCC, AS, and other)
  • Open to learning and developing professional skills.
