Are you a seasoned property management professional with a track record of success in leading and optimizing property portfolios? Do you possess strong negotiation skills and the ability to develop high-level strategic plans and policies? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Senior Asset and Accommodation Planning Consultant on a contract basis.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and participate in the development, implementation, review, and evaluation of the Department's statewide property portfolio.
- Coordinate and provide authoritative policy advice on the operations of the Department's property assets and commercial leasing strategies, including the development of relevant policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Negotiate and prepare commercial lease agreements for Department property, including office accommodation, residential, and operational facilities.
- Plan and organise the Department's business planning processes to maximise the performance and delivery of asset management and Accommodation outcomes.
- Provide high-level strategic and operational advice to the Manager, Asset Management and Accommodation Planning, and other stakeholders on the appropriate use of Department property assets and commercial accommodation.
- Provide high-level support in the development and maintenance of the asset management information system, ensuring all asset information is accurately captured, complete, and up-to-date.
- Develop reporting frameworks that provide effective asset management and Accommodation reporting to internal and external clients.
- Represent the Department in meetings with Government and non-Government organisations in relation to accommodation.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in property management, including the development and implementation of property portfolios and commercial leasing strategies.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to prepare and review commercial lease agreements.
- Proven ability to lead strategic planning processes and develop high-level policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide authoritative advice to senior management and stakeholders.
- Experience in asset management information systems and reporting frameworks.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet changing project demands and deadlines.
- Prior experience in a governmental or similar setting is desirable.
