Position Objective
Provide property services including responding to complex property issues, procuring and managing works, managing information and playing a key role in the management of State Road’s Property Assets in accordance with the Strategic Property Assets Management Plan.
Duties
- Provide specialist technical property and land use planning advice to the Manager Property Assets including:
- Researching and responding to complex property enquiries
- Negotiating and managing complex Crown land leases and licences
- Assessing State Roads Crown landowner consent application referrals under the Land Use Planning and Approvals Act 1993
- Procurement and management of property works contracts including:
- Procurement in accordance with Tasmanian government and State Roads procurement guidelines
- Processing contract payments and financial reporting
- Contribute to Property Assets team business improvement projects including:
- Participating in the review of team business processes
- Developing accessible and spatially enabled property datasets
- Prepare high level correspondence, reports, plans and Ministerial minutes and briefings that are accurate and succinct.
Desirable Requirements
- Appropriate tertiary qualifications (for example: Surveying, Land Management, Town Planning etc)
- A current car driver licence.
