Senior Property Assets Officer (005305)

Position Objective

Provide property services including responding to complex property issues, procuring and managing works, managing information and playing a key role in the management of State Road’s Property Assets in accordance with the Strategic Property Assets Management Plan.

Duties

• Provide specialist technical property and land use planning advice to the Manager Property Assets including:
  • Researching and responding to complex property enquiries
  • Negotiating and managing complex Crown land leases and licences
  • Assessing State Roads Crown landowner consent application referrals under the Land Use Planning and Approvals Act 1993
• Procurement and management of property works contracts including:
  • Procurement in accordance with Tasmanian government and State Roads procurement guidelines
  • Processing contract payments and financial reporting
• Contribute to Property Assets team business improvement projects including:
  • Participating in the review of team business processes
  • Developing accessible and spatially enabled property datasets
• Prepare high level correspondence, reports, plans and Ministerial minutes and briefings that are accurate and succinct.

Desirable Requirements

• Appropriate tertiary qualifications (for example: Surveying, Land Management, Town Planning etc)
• A current car driver licence.
