Your New Role
Collaborate with our team to review civil plans, computations, and flood levels.
Assess building over easement applications and legal points of discharge applications.
Ensure compliance with permits related to engineering assets.
Provide expert advice on complex planning and building development applications (Planning Referrals).
Approve plans for engineering works, ensuring they meet quality standards.
Advise on Construction Management Plans required for major developments.
Manage bonds related to civil permits, ensuring compliance with regulations.
Assist in processing applications for the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR).
Contribute to high-level reviews of major development projects.
Liaise with developers and contractors to address potential impacts on the Council's infrastructure.
Protect the Council's assets by ensuring proper coordination.
Assist in managing the Council's street lighting infrastructure.
What You'll Need to Succeed
A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Professional Engineer licence preferred.
5+ years of experience in asset management or related roles.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
