About us
NAB's Corporate Finance division plays a leading role in funding Australian business by providing innovative funding solutions to our clients and access point to global capital markets.
An integral part of the Corporate Finance offering, Agency & Trustee Services (ATS) is a market leading provider of facility agent and security Trustee Services managing over 450 syndicated bank debt facilities for institutional, corporate and specialised finance borrowers and issuers across a variety of industry sectors. Our clients are made up of the borrowers and issuers we service, as well investors and lenders we represent in syndicates comprising Australian and international financial institutions and institutional funds.
The role
We are currently seeking applications for the position of a Senior Associate to manage a diversified portfolio of syndicated loan transactions (secured and unsecured) and account bank roles as an Agency relationship manager. You will work closely with deal teams including originators, syndicators and legal counsels to assist borrowers in meeting financial close requirements for new transactions and refinancing of existing transactions. Post financial close you will manage syndicate relationships between borrowers and lenders in respect of all credit related and operational matters with the help of Agency Operations.
Agency & Trustee Services candidates have an origination and customer focussed approach to the role with strong organisational skills and resilience for managing a diversified high profile client portfolio.
About you
The successful candidate will have relevant tertiary qualifications Finance/Business related discipline combined with extensive experience within Corporate & Institutional Banking and a strong understanding of syndicated lending and legal documentation in a client facing role.
You'll be a detail focused and a proactive self-starter with client origination skills and the ability to work autonomously with a high degree of organisational skills. Possess outstanding interpersonal and written skills with a proven ability to interact effectively with stakeholders and be an active contributor in a high performing team. This role requires strong attention to detail, time management skills with the capability to effectively manage conflicting priorities and competing stakeholder expectations, whilst driving outcomes.
