The Role
The role of the New York Lending Operations team is to perform key administrative functions in the management of Bilateral and syndicated facilities as agent or syndicate member This includes managing secondary trading, document review and security management, management of all account set up and ongoing movements for Account bank roles and the distribution of financial reporting to Syndicate group or nab along with loan maintenance in loan iq core system.
This role will see you delivering a seamless service to stakeholders and customers based in New York whilst adhering to policies and procedures to ensure operational risk is minimised.
The role includes shift elements to service US market (New York).
9pm to 6am (shift loading applicable)
A typical day will include:
- Working closely with the Agency & NAB Relationship Managers to provide an efficient service to Borrowers and Syndicate Lenders.
- The facilitation and input /approval of loan drawings, repayments, interest rate resets and fee payments via core system (Loan IQ) and/or manual processing of payments.
- Accurately record fee income and process payments to both Lenders and Borrowers
- Reconcile account and bank statements as required
- Completion of New and Terminated facility checklists
- Working closely with the Relationship Managers to provide a seamless service to Borrowers and Syndicate Banks
- Maintaining deal parameters such as pricing within Core system (Loan IQ)
- Ensuring electronic records management relating to payments is completed accurately and on a daily basis
- Management email flow in group inbox and monitor, respond to and action all requests received in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensuring all end of day shut down processes are attended to and accounts and payments signed off.
About You
You will have experience working in the financial services industry, in Operations and/or Wholesale Banking. You are familiar with syndicated deals and documentation either in an administrative or relationship position, with a SME degree of system knowledge in Loan IQ and SWIFT Alliance .
With a passion for customers, you will be able to identify process gaps and drive continuous improvements. A high attention to detail with the ability to work autonomously is key to thriving in this role.
