The Team 
 
We are proud to have a strong Class Actions presence nationally, assisting clients to secure justice in some of the nation's most prominent Class Actions, including the Worley Ltd shareholder class action, Stolen Wages and Stolen Generations class actions and the Ruby Princess class action.
  
In addition to the service this team provides, assisting many individuals across one large-scale class action, Shine is also proud to assist clients, in their individual commercial dispute on a no win/no fee basis. While reporting to a Class Actions’ Practice Leader, you’ll work on a range of litigated matters for individuals including, but not limited to, Commercial Disputes, insolvency and professional negligence matters.   
  
This opportunity is available on a six (6) month contract basis, and so is perfect for someone who is interested to work in this team on a short-term basis. Who knows! This could be a great opportunity, to gain a foothold into this work, to find ongoing work in our Class Actions team if you love working here.
  
For this opportunity, we are open to flexible work arrangement options, including remote work and flexible hours, for a senior commercial litigation with demonstrated success across commercial litigation matters.
  
The Opportunity

• Providing the legal advice and representation our clients need and deserve to obtain maximum compensation. 
• Progressing and resolving matters for individuals across Commercial Disputes, insolvency and professional negligence.
• Effectively assessing claims, including liability and loss recovery.
• Cultivating strong relationships with our clients through exceptional communication and clear management of expectations.  
• Preparing legal documentation with a high degree of detail, and manage and run a file load with a keen level of commercial and fiscal awareness. 
• Working as one team and actively supporting and mentoring junior team members. 

What you’ll bring 
  
To thrive in this role, you’ll have: 

• A Bachelor of Laws with a current practising certificate. 
• Demonstrated post-admission experience as a solicitor across Commercial Disputes 
• A strong desire to assist deserving clients on a no win/no fee basis
• Strong understanding of, and ability to interpret the relevant legislation and legal documentation. 
• An innate ability to question, challenge the status quo and always stay ahead of the pack. 
• A commitment to truly connect with those around you and work together to deliver exceptional results for our clients. 
• The passion, motivation and enthusiasm to contribute to our culture and ensure it’s a place where everyone can thrive.
