We currently have a fantastic opportunity in our Brisbane Commercial Litigation team for a Senior Associate. Working with a close-knit and inclusive team, you will work in a broad variety of Commercial Litigation matters covering disputes in the infrastructure & mining, consumer markets, regulatory, real estate, transport and government sectors.
Responsibilities
- Draft advices, pleadings and prepare matters for hearing
- Attend witness conferences and prepare affidavits and witness statements
- Brief senior and junior Counsel
- Appear in directions hearings and conferences
- Prepare for and attend court and mediations
- Mentor graduates, summer clerks and junior lawyers
- Assist with business development and marketing initiatives
- At least 4+ years PQE in a reputable Commercial Litigation team with experience across a broad range of Commercial Litigation matters
- Commercial approach and experience dealing with complex transactions
- Exceptional client liaison skills
- Excellent analytical, technical and drafting skills
