About the Role:
An new opportunity has emerged within their busy Brisbane CBD office, specifically within the Insurance Law team where the focus of the work will be the defence of complex Casualty, Liability and Personal Injury matters with responsibilities including:
- Providing expert advice on policy coverage issues, liability, causation, quantum, and strategy
- Appearing at court, conferences, and mediations
- Managing claims throughout pre-court proceedings and litigation.
- Preparing briefs and instructing counsel during court hearings
- Liaising with clients and other third parties
- Drafting court documents, settlement deeds and referrals.
- To be considered for this Senior Associate level opportunity, you will bring no less than 5 years PAE with litigation experience in defendant insurance matters (within an Australian law firm)
- You will naturally self-driven with excellent communication and time management skills.
- Ability to effectively manage competing priorities and have the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
