Senior Associate - Litigation - Pt - Initial 3/6 Month Contract

The Team

The insurance litigation team at the firm are a trusted advisor to both Australian and international insurers. They provide a range of services, including claims management, litigation, and regulatory guidance. 

The Role

Due to an a few significant matters on foot our client is seeking an experienced litigation lawyer to join their Sydney team for a short term period to assist with a surge in their current workload.  This opportunity will report into the Partner of the practice area.

You will have:

• • Broad litigation experience (advisory, mediation, hearings and litigation).
  • Strong technical, and drafting skills.
  • Effectively translate strategic direction.
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels.
  • Strong Stakeholder engagement and management skills. 
  • Well-developed negotiation skills and strong attention to detail.

Requirements
 
To be successful, you will be a talented lawyer at the Senior Associate level with 5+ years post admission experience in insurance & litigation law gained working within a litigation practice team.

Ideally, you will also have experience in the defence of complex claims and/or investigations.

In addition, you will also:

• Have exceptional client service and legal advice.
• Compliance with delegation and regulations.
• Active engagement in professional growth.
• Be a team player with a strong work ethic.
