The firm is seeking a talented Senior Associate to join their Mergers & Acquisitions team in Sydney. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with a prominent Partner at HFW, renowned for their expertise in M&A transactions. The Senior Associate will play a pivotal role in advising clients on a wide range of M&A matters, including public M&A and potentially resources sector transactions. Responsibilities will include structuring deals, conducting due diligence, negotiating agreements, and providing strategic advice to clients across various jurisdictions.The Candidate:
The ideal candidate will possess:

• 5-7 years of post-qualification experience with a reputable law firm, specializing in M&A transactions.
• Strong experience in public M&A transactions or demonstrable experience in resources sector transactions.
• Excellent academic credentials coupled with a robust understanding of corporate law principles.
• Proven ability to manage complex transactions independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
• Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
