Senior Associate, Operational Services

The Opportunity

CSL Behring is looking for a Senior AssociateOperational Services, Bulk value stream to join our growing team. Reporting to the Manager - Operational Services, Changes and based at our Broadmeadows Facility, you will manage the implementation of short- and long-term changes in response to manufacturing value stream priorities and provide expertise in the facilitation of changes.

The Role

In addition to facilitating change management, you will be:

• Collaborating with the manufacturing direct operations to understand the problem statement or opportunity so as to reliably represent the change across the business and enable the direct manufacturing subject matter experts to meet the schedule and operational plans safety and timely.
• Setting the charter and scope in conjunction with the manufacturing direct subject matter experts.
• Planning and communicating the change, ensuring all stakeholders progress the tasks to timely completion.
• Driving a cross functional team in the implementation of short- and long-term process optimisation, correction or process capability changes.
• Representing the bulk manufacturing value stream as change coordinator to drive changes around efficiency, reliability and compliance.
• Monitoring change controls for completion to plan and escalate to ensure implementation is timely and effective with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Maintaining expertise in change management, project management, risk assessments.

Your skills and experience

• Tertiary Qualification in Sciences or Engineering
• 5+ years' manufacturing experience (R&D, Tech Services, Quality or Manufacturing) in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or biological industry
• Experience in project and change management particularly in leading changes
• Knowledge of validation technology, production and management processes within and external to the pharmaceutical industry
• Demonstrated understanding of cGMP, regulatory requirements and relevant environmental, health and safety requirements as applicable to secondary manufacturing
• Ability to work on complex tasks proficiently
• Enjoys a fast pace environment
• Continuous improvement mindset
