You will be a part of the development and implementation of the Customer Events & Sponsorship program in ANZ.  

Working with sales, product, commercial and marketing teams, you will be responsible for delivering all elements of targeted Events and negotiating sponsorships to drive perception change, deepen client relationships and grow market share.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and execute internal Marketing Events and external key events, including organisation, operational management and delivery and post event care
  • Execute on the delivery of the events program ensuring your projects are delivered to a high standard, on time and on budget ensuring SEEK is maximising ROI
  • Manage relations with internal stakeholders to co-ordinate scheduling and briefings
  • Prepare and submit timely progress reports, as well as a comprehensive post-event evaluation
• Execute key elements of  partnerships with industry associations e.g. CEDA and AHRI best aligned to SEEK’s values
• Support the delivery of SEEK’s annual awards programs, the STAR Awards and SARAs
• Lead the development of event communication plans allocated to you creating compelling reasons to attend and generate leads
• Manage the SEEK customer merchandise portfolio, and act as the key point of contact for suppliers.
• Provide budget management support and financial reporting associated with Events and sponsorships
• Monitor competitor activity, sharing learnings to ensure SEEK remain innovative market leaders

• Ideally Previous experience in events, marketing or communications preferred with demonstrated experience in event management highly regarded
• Skilled negotiator with the ability to handle multiple stakeholders and suppliers at any one time
• Excellent project management and organisation skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and navigate complex and shifting timelines
• Strong problem solving skills with an ability to articulate, conceptualise and solve problems
• Strong customer-focused mindset with the ability to influence and create positive engagement
• Experience working with external agencies, including creative, media and PR
• Energetic, enthusiastic, innovative, inspiring and results driven
