The Role 

As a valued member of our Registry team, the Senior Associate plays a crucial role in providing outstanding support to our Payment Managers. Your main objective is to deliver complex payment projects, ensuring exceptional service is consistently delivered. Additionally, you will actively contribute to business development, client transitions, and work collaboratively with other teams to achieve service excellence. Staying up to date with industry advancements and expanding your expertise in all aspects of your role are essential. 

Responsibilities 

  • Directly interacting with our internal and external stakeholders on a day-to-day basis to ensure we understand their ongoing needs and deliver a first-class service
  • End-to-end delivery of payment projects, including but not limited to trust distributions, interest, and dividend payments for both our listed, unlisted, and managed fund clients
  • Manage replacement payments including international payments
  • Preparation and dispatch of Annual Tax Statements and AMMA statements
  • Assist with ATO reporting lodgements such as QTFN and AIIR
  • Ensure all client billing is timely and captures services both within and out of scope  
  • Ongoing process improvement and maintenance of operating procedure
  • Ensure ongoing product conformity with a customer focus
  • Assessing, evaluating, monitoring team performance and client deliverables 
  • Identification, assessment, and treatment of operational risk within the team
  • Maintain a professional image for the business

Demonstrated Capabilities 

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in payment processing, trust management, or financial services
  • Strong understanding of tax regulations and reporting requirements, particularly in relation to trust distributions and international payments
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with stakeholders and clients
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines 
  • Experience in identifying and mitigating operational risks within a team environment
  • Proven track record of process improvement and implementing best practices
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks performed
  • Advanced proficient using Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel
