LexVeritas is proud to be partnering with a well-regarded mid-tier law firm as we search for a Senior Associate with a minimum of 4 years post admission experience to join their plaintiff personal injuries team. You will be an important part of this expanding practice and will be trusted to take full carriage of matters with guidance from a team of experienced partners and support from your colleagues.
Your key responsibilities in this role will include:
- Providing advice to clients and managing a caseload of plaintiff matters including workplace injuries, motor vehicle accidents, TPD and public liability.
- Alongside your team, conducting legal research and preparing legal documents such as pleadings, affidavits, and statements of claim.
- Representing clients in mediations, negotiations and court proceedings.
- Regular communication with clients and other stakeholders.
- Leading and training the junior solicitors in your team.
- Assisting in marketing and business development activities for the firm.
Role Requirements
- 4 years or more post admission experience in personal injuries, workers’ compensation, motor vehicle accidents, TPD and medical negligence claims or similar practice areas.
- Passion and drive to get excellent results for your clients, knowing you are making a real impact in their lives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
