About the Role:
As a senior member of the Integrity and Assurance team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that Victorian Catholic schools and boarding premises meet minimum standards and other regulatory requirements. Reporting to the Manager, Integrity and Assurance, you will contribute to a professional, skilled and motivated team dedicated to excellence.
With a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence, you will be responsible for assuring the compliance of Catholic schools and school boarding premises through assessment, moderation, and quality assurance. Your excellent written and verbal communication skills will enable you to develop strong relationships with stakeholders, develop guidance and resources and investigate complaints. Your role will also include identifying and mitigating risks and analysing compliance data to ensure effective reporting and decision-making.

Key Selection Criteria:
- Knowledge of, or the ability to develop a good working knowledge of the Education and Training Reform Act 2006, Education and Training Reform Regulations 2017, and minimum standards for school and school boarding premises registration.
- Knowledge of, or the ability to develop a good working knowledge of Ministerial Order No. 1359 – Implementing the Child Safe Standards – Managing the risk of child abuse in schools and school boarding premises (Child Safe Standards)
- Proven ability to understand legislative and regulatory frameworks and prior experience assessing and assuring compliance against legislative and regulatory requirements.
- Prior experience identifying and responding to risks and applying risk frameworks.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with team members to achieve team goals and KPIs.
- Excellent attention to detail with experience establishing work and progress-tracking processes and delivering outcomes within tight timelines.
- Advanced analytical skills to analyse data and information to define strategic priorities and initiatives and to prepare informative reports.
- Excellent communication skills and proven ability to engage with a range of stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience:
Relevant tertiary qualification in risk, audit, legal or other relevant field.
A minimum of three years experience in education administration, law, audit, compliance, risk, or a related field.
