Job description
The Senior Governance and Assurance Advisor is accountable for the Governance and strategic advice to the Information Services Division (ISD) Leadership Team on ISD governance frameworks, policies, standards and quality assurance of ISD briefings and correspondence on behalf of the department.
This position will manage strategic relationships and foster effective links across the whole department and with counterparts across Victorian government. You will represent the department at WoVG committees and forums and play a major role in building a robust culture of performance, delivery, and continuous improvement across Information Services.
Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications
* Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or previous experience in working in large organisations or government is highly desired.
* Significant experience with ICT functions, delivering strategic plans across ICT organisations which lead to transformational programs.
* Experience in the management of division level policies, procedures, and frameworks
* Excellent written and verbal communication including the proven ability to communicate recommendations clearly and succinctly.
* Demonstrated interpersonal skill to establish and maintain strong and productive working relationships.
This is an ongoing position. The work location for this position is flexible within Victoria with hybrid work arrangements available.
