The Senior Assurance Officer undertakes independent audits and investigations of WA Government agencies to provide assurance of their compliance with procurement legislation and policy. The role will support the assessment of agencies procurement activities, allowing the Department to support capability development across the sector. The role will also assist with the administration of Australia’s first Debarment Regime. The role supports the Department’s leadership in goods, services and works procurement policy compliance across the public sector and uses best practice methods to identify and deter fraud, corruption and misconduct activity.
