A 6-month contract opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced individual with AV experience

An exciting opportunity currently exists for a highly motivated technical and customer focused Senior Audio Video Specialist to join their team to work in an enterprise environment.
Your new role
You will liaise and coordinate with the various organisational departments and sections involved in the delivery of audiovisual solutions.
- Where required, lead projects and operational status reports
- Develop, manage and maintain complex audiovisual systems, their components and functions, inclusive of system design, documentation, programming, configuration and all other relevant technical activities to meet the requirements of the organisation.
- Provide regular review and offer advice on new and emerging audiovisual technologies
- Identify recurring complex problems, investigate and provide permanent solutions.
- Manage and delegate the complex tasks required to ensure the successful operation of the supported services, such as configuration, system updates and complex issue resolution.
- Oversee the monitoring of processes, procedures and interfaces to ensure accurate and performant products.
- Manage time critical issues with vendors, co-ordinating locally amongst other teams in ITDS
- Provide disaster recovery advice, review plans regularly and ensure awareness of what is required in the event of a major incident to ensure ongoing provision of services.
- Provide responsive and expert support and guidance on effective use of the supported services.
- Be a creditable responsive escalation point for key stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all OHS&W policies and procedures including contractor inductions.
- Consistently adhere to ITDS business processes, particularly focusing on the areas of Project Management, incident, problem and change management.
· 3+Years Experience in an AV engineering, programming or project manager role
·Demonstrable technical knowledge of fundamental audio and video reproductiontechnologies
·Demonstrated ability to effectively negotiate matters relating to contractdisputes with consultants and contractors.
·Experience in management of a diverse range of internal and externalStakeholders to ensure collaborative work practices.
·Fosters and supports a culture that supports the growth and development ofindividual team members.
·Experience with enterprise level Audio Visual or IT systems is desirable.
·Experience with ITSM fundamentals is desirable.
·Experience with CAD software is desirable.
·Advanced M365 suite skills (PowerBI, Sharepoint data and Power apps) are desirable.
Qualifications -
·Bachelors degree in a technology or project management related field
· AVIXACertification or other AV related recognised qualification
