Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Head of Enterprise Analytics, this role offers a unique opportunity to provide strategic and transactional support, leveraging data analytics to facilitate evidence-based decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide functional and technical leadership in data analytics, supporting evidence-based decision-making.
- Lead strategic planning, consultancy, requirements analysis, design, and configuration of analytics platforms and technologies.
- Offer expert advice to internal stakeholders and IT leadership on emerging technologies, risks, and opportunities.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and operation of analytics platforms, ensuring compliance and reliability.
- Review and ensure operational changes meet service delivery requirements.
- Plan for availability, performance, and capacity of services to meet business needs.
- Drive continuous improvement of processes and standards, contributing to organizational capability development.
About You
- Tertiary qualifications in Data and Analytics, Data Science, Business, or Statistics.
- Expertise in analytics, including data engineering, descriptive analytics, and predictive modeling.
- Proficiency in Alteryx, Python, R, SQL, AWS, and PowerBI.
- Experience in complex analysis and technical leadership within multi-stakeholder environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Experience with SQL DB, SQL Server, SSAS, SSIS, Financial Reporting, and PowerBI.
- Familiarity with financial planning tools such as Calumo is desirable.
