MFE is an adaptive and progressive business specialising in site maintenance, fabrication and project management predominately in the mining and energy sector. Over the past 10 years, we have grown to a company of 70 staff and service multimillion dollar contracts with both global and local clients. With this growth, we are seeking to recruit an experienced senior Boilermaker based in Chinchilla or on a DIDO roster.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This position offers the right candidate a cash maximising casual roster with the option for permanency in conjunction with flexible rosters to achieve a work-life balance in the future. If you have a focus on safety, quality and efficiency, this role will return up to over $650 gross per day to you on a 9 day fortnight roster.
EXPERIENCE
- Experience welding to piping and structural standards
- Experience working with rigorous quality assurance and testing procedures
- GTAW, FCAW, SMAW and GMAW experience essential
- Relevant trade qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret drawings
- Ability to work with limited supervision
- Work to LEAN and 5’s principles
- Experience or willingness to learn digital systems and reporting
- Maintenance of inventory and spare parts
- Proven team and individual workplace performance
- Working Permits, JSEA’s and Procedures
- Forklift, Working at Heights, Boom lift, Confined space training would be desirable
