The purpose of this role, Business Practice Improvement Officer (BPIO) is to research, design and implement improvements in patient access to outpatient services across Queensland Health Outpatients Departments.
Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS) is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south to Gympie in the north.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Develop statistical reports and apply analysis to outpatient data to inform business decisions and target improvement initiatives.
• Create performance reports which monitor performance against key performance indicators through written and illustrative analysis.
• Develop and implement procedures and systems for the provision of ongoing analysis of health performance related information to assist Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS) Outpatient Departments in planning, management, monitoring and evaluation of health services.
• Actively participate in the Hospital and Health Service (HHS) Outpatient Sub-Committees and provide high level advice pertaining to the operational management of Outpatient Services.

Remuneration value up to $144 03 p.a., comprising salary between $117 824 - $126 212 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (AO6).
