Senior Advisor Business and Stakeholder Engagement
2-year fixed term – Full-time – Bowen Wharf
We're seeking to appoint a Senior Advisor Business and Stakeholder Engagement who will be responsible for implementing the strategy, delivery, and process improvement for community engagement and Stakeholder management on behalf of North Queensland Bulk Ports Corporation (NQBP) and driving positive relationships with the communities surrounding Bowen and Abbot Point.

This is an exciting opportunity where you’ll be:
- Contributing to the facilitation and coordination of hydrogen opportunities at Abbot Point .
- Liaise closely with a range of internal and external stakeholders, obtaining knowledge and information to shape and inform strategies that foster positive relationships and build shared objectives in the Bowen Community
- Establish, manage and maintain solid relationships with local port communities in Bowen and Abbot Point, identify emerging issues and implement timely mitigation strategies when required
- Collaborate with the relevant areas of NQBP to ensure best practice government and Stakeholder Engagement is adopted across the organisation
- Identify emerging internal and external issues and assess reputational risks, liaising with senior managers to develop engagement programs and associate action plans to inform stakeholder perspectives
