Your new role
In this role, you will oversee the provision of business analysis and requirements, along with process modifications and enhancements. This is to ensure the effective delivery and upkeep of Information and Technology services. Additionally, you will be tasked with formulating testing strategies and plans for all solutions and services, guaranteeing a reliable and uniform delivery throughout the organisation. There will be more of a focus on Cybersecurity related projects within this role and there is an exciting Cyber program underway for you to be involved in! . Your responsibilities will also encompass the creation of gap analyses, elicitation of requirements (both functional and non-functional), analysis, and prioritisation. You will align business requirements and processes, pinpointing gaps and opportunities. Alongside this, you will convert business needs and requirements into technical and solutions requirements using analytical tools, methods, and techniques.
What you'll need to succeed
For this position, success hinges on your proficiency in SQL and your familiarity with relational databases. Your ability to communicate effectively at all levels and foster robust working relationships in complex settings with enterprise-wide information management systems is crucial. You should have relevant experience in a role such as a Business or Systems Analyst, or any position that involves business analysis or process improvement. Additionally, you should be experienced in business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modelling, testing, and verification. You should also have a track record of setting up testing strategies and plans, developing business cases, and understanding business analysis practices in both agile and plan-driven project environments. As for soft skills, you should have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to cultivate positive relationships with stakeholders.
