The Opportunity
We are looking for driven and self-motivated professionals to join our Systems Testing Team as Business Analyst and Senior Testers within the Driver and Vehicle Services
As part of the Systems Testing team, you will be responsible to identify, investigate, and analyse issues related to system faults, enhancements, new initiatives, or solutions to the problems identified. You will undertake user acceptance testing for systems changes and enhancements and assist in developing mechanisms to evaluate user acceptance testing effectiveness of implemented changes to DVS information systems, including the Transport Executive Licensing Information System (TRELIS).
You will lead and participate the in-regression testing and new initiatives impacting TRELIS and other licencing applications Must have experience in software automated test tools, ensuring automation testing regimes/procedures are developed according to the standards and methodologies employed by the Department.

There is currently one (1) permanent full-time position available.
Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments will be made for this or similar future vacancies (fixed term or permanent) that arise within the next 12 months date of first appointment across the Department of Transport.
About you
Your knowledge and understanding of business analysis techniques and excellent written skills will be essential as you develop quality user technical documentation. You will use your well-developed communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders as you make recommendations and propose workable solutions to meet business technology needs. You will also:
- Demonstrate knowledge of business analysis and user acceptance testing techniques
- Display well developed written, verbal and communications skills.
- Display sound research, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Have organisational and planning skills.
- Collaborate with developers and Business Analysts to identify defects and ensure timely resolution.
- Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders.
- Analyse existing processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with development teams to translate requirements into technical specifications.
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure successful project delivery.
- Provide ongoing support and enhancements to existing systems.
