- Full-time, fixed-term appointment for 1.5 years
The Opportunity
You will analyse complex business processes, identify requirements, and successfully implement fit-for-purpose business improvements through a mix of organisational change and process enhancement.
Consulting with key stakeholders, you will identify requirements with impact across the Data and Analytics Roadmap, providing accurate advice and timely support, and ensuring effective communications and training is included as part of process improvement.
Additionally, you will be required to provide regular updates, reports and sound recommendations to a variety of audiences at all levels of the organisation to ensure process improvement and project delivery is successful.

You will
- lead the business analysis of complex business processes, systems and structures, identifying business requirements and successfully implementing business improvements;
- collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, and prioritise requirements that align with strategic goals and initiatives including developing artefacts required for implementation including but not limited to functional specifications, use stories, user acceptance test plans and communication plans; and
- manage the data integration requirements for key components of foundation technology uplifting.
About you
Possessing a project delivery background, strong interpersonal and communications skills, you have the capability to convey information, gain acceptance of ideas and engage successfully with stakeholders across an organisation. Additionally, your strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities, aid your capacity to work on multiple project and meet deadlines successfully.
You will possess:
- extensive experience and highly developed analytical skills, ideally with understanding and experience in the planning, development, integration and implementation of data warehouse and analytical platform, preferably within higher education;
- proficiency in requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation techniques, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders; and
- familiarity with agile and iterative methodologies, promoting collaboration and adaptability in business analysis projects. Experience with tertiary education business is desirable.
