Queensland Rail is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our SEQ Assets team (based in the Brisbane CBD) in a newly created permanent position. This is an opportunity to use your expert analytical skills to deliver Asset Management systems analysis, business process modelling and reporting to support the successful delivery of various technology-enabled and business improvement projects.
About the role
- Analyse and manage performance against business plans and asset management information systems, making commercially sound recommendations supporting decision-making as related to the Operational Systems program.
- Lead a stream of work to model, report and support delivery of effective solutions across multiple asset management improvement projects.
- Define, develop and produce capability and benefits mapping, and operational and business process modelling.
- Manage internal data gathering, assisting in the co-ordination of internal resources in the development of operational readiness activities.
What we are looking for:
Experience in Asset Management Standards will be highly regarded. You will also demonstrate:
- Experience process mapping, developing business processes, AS-IS and TO-BE Business Process Models, Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience gathering and documenting high level and detailed business requirements, and documenting business rules across a broad spectrum of stakeholders.
- Strong relationship building and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage conflicting priorities to achieve results.
