Hays have partnered with a sought-after federal government agency to appoint a Senior Business Analyst to an initial 12-month contract. Playing a key role in a crucial business division, along with a 12-month extension already on the cards, this isn't one you want to miss!
Your new role
As the EL1 Senior Business Analyst, you'll be responsible for performing highly complex work, involving detailed technical and professional business analysis, system analysis, and design changes. Part of the Digital Division, your core duties and responsibilities will include:
- Acting as the conduit between the business units, internal stakeholders that will include the IT business management, solutions development, and solutions implementation functional teams within the Agency (and relevant external stakeholders)
- Accountable for the achievement of your own and team outcomes, monitoring progress and following through to ensure the delivery of quality outcomes to develop and complete key business analysis activities
- Leading the analysis of business needs across a complex portfolio of new and existing standards-related initiatives
What you'll need to succeed
You will be an accomplished Senior Business Analyst, with extensive experience under your belt (ideally within the government or healthcare sectors). You'll possess the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships across multiple teams, as well as demonstrated experience delivering outcomes both individually and as a member of a team. Your analytical and communication skills will be second to none, and any exposure or qualifications you have in Agile or Scrum will be highly regarded.
Please note that this role requires eligibility for a Baseline Security Clearance to apply - the minimum requirement for this security clearance is Australian Citizenship.
