They are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Business Analyst to join their friendly team in Brisbane. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in their Finance Transformation project, working closely with stakeholders across the organisation to analyse current finance processes, identify areas for improvement, and drive the successful implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with finance teams and key stakeholders to understand current business processes and pain points.
- Conduct detailed analysis of finance processes, systems, and data to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Work closely with the project team to define requirements, develop solutions, and design workflows aligned with best practices and industry standards.
- Partner with IT teams and external vendors to configure, customise, and implement Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations modules.
- Provide training and support to end-users to facilitate a smooth transition to the new system.
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and proactively address challenges to keep the project on track.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on finance process improvement and transformation initiatives.
- Strong understanding of finance processes, including accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, and financial analysis.
- Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (or similar ERP systems) is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven track record of delivering successful projects on time and within budget.
- Must be based in Brisbane, or willing to relocate.
