About the role:
A leading Australian Insurance and financial industry company are looking for multiple Senior Business Analysts within the IAM space (Agile) experience working within a team assisting with gathering requirements, impact analysis, digital and transformation projects, and creating user stories and diagram flows. You will have a big focus on stakeholder management along with planning and documentation skills rather than technical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic IAM Leadership: Spearhead IAM initiatives with a strategic lens, developing and implementing access control policies that fortify financial and insurance data security. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with organisational goals and regulatory requirements.
- Strong documention skills - Gathering Requirements, User Stories, Process Diagrams, Conducting workshops
- Innovative Solution Implementation: Drive the implementation of advanced IAM solutions, leveraging your extensive knowledge to design and deploy cutting-edge technologies. Ensure compliance with stringent industry standards, keeping our systems resilient and ahead of evolving cybersecurity threats.
- Business-Technical Bridging: Translate intricate business requirements into precise technical specifications. Bridge the gap between business needs and technical capabilities, ensuring seamless communication and understanding. Drive innovation by optimizing processes, enhancing efficiency, and contributing to the financial resilience of our organisation.
- Risk Mitigation and Compliance: Play a pivotal role in risk assessment and compliance activities, proactively identifying potential threats and vulnerabilities. Implement measures to mitigate risks, ensuring that our cybersecurity framework aligns with industry regulations and standards within the financial and insurance domains.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Foster collaborative relationships with stakeholders across departments. Engage with business units, IT teams, and external partners to gather insights, understand evolving business needs, and align IAM strategies with overarching organizational objectives.
- Minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst, specializing in Identity and Access Management within the financial or insurance sectors.
- Agile certified - added bonus
- Profound knowledge of IAM technologies, including identity governance and access management.
- Strong analytical skills and a proven ability to navigate complex cybersecurity challenges within financial contexts.
