They are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst with specialized expertise in merchant pricing or merchant payments to join their dynamic team and drive forward their mission of delivering unparalleled value to their clients.
As a Senior Business Analyst specializing in Merchant Pricing / Payments, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our company’s strategic direction and ensuring the success of our merchant partners. Leveraging your in-depth knowledge of pricing structures, scheme fee, and industry trends, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative solutions that maximize merchant profitability and enhance their payment experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of merchant pricing models, scheme fee, and transaction costs to identify opportunities for optimization and cost savings.
- Collaborate with product development teams to define and prioritize features and functionalities that align with merchant needs and market demands.
- Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive dynamics to anticipate market shifts and proactively adjust pricing and payment strategies as needed.
- Drive cross-functional initiatives to streamline merchant onboarding processes, reduce friction in payment flows, and enhance overall customer satisfaction.
- Act as a subject matter expert on merchant pricing and payments, providing guidance and support to internal stakeholders and external clients as needed.
- Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to analyze revenue performance, forecast future trends, and optimize pricing structures for long-term growth.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and best practices in the field of merchant payments, continuously seeking opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
Requirements:
- 6-8 years of experience in business analysis, with a focus on merchant pricing / payments in Financial Services sector (A MUST).
- Experience in various Scheme fee projects (A MUST).
- Proven track record of successfully designing and implementing pricing strategies that drive revenue growth and improve profitability.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to diverse audiences and influence key stakeholders.
- Experience working in a cross-functional, agile environment, with a demonstrated ability to lead projects from concept to execution.
- Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work products on time and within budget.
- Proactive mindset, with a passion for continuous learning and professional development in the field of merchant payments.
