The role
As a Senior Business Analyst, your role will be to manage the review and analysis of the organisation's business intentions, services, processes and information needs to identify changes that lead to business improvements.
The role will include acting as the primary focal point between the brand/retail support area to provide IT services for the assigned stakeholders process/application areas, managing initiatives end to end (includes assigning business activities to take place).
You can expect to undertake the discovery, development of business requirements, business process improvement, process mapping and design for Supply Chain Replenishment projects.
Key duties include:
- Analyse and consolidate information to develop business cases to support achievement of business objectives.
- Provide plain language advice on technical issues to non-technical audiences.
- Work with key stakeholders to identify how changing business requirements may be delivered with existing IT solutions.
- Provide a deep functional understanding of IT solutions. Knowledge and understanding of business process and being able to relate that knowledge to the relevant application.
- Able to translate business requests into Functional design Specifications.
- Establish relationships with stakeholders to develop trust and ensure reliable and accurate information.
About you and your skills
- Sufficient commercial experience as a Business Analyst with a high degree of expertise in analysing complex problems. Ability to apply problem solving skills.
- Experience in the development of business cases
- Experience in retail environment advantageous
- Able to harness information and opportunities
- Values specialist expertise and capitalises on the knowledge and skills of others within the organisation. Contributes own expertise to achieve outcomes for the business unit.
- Leadership capability
- Ability to facilitate discovery workshops
- Experience in gathering and documenting business requirements.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
