A company-wide transformation is currently being initiated in a large wealth management organisation. Subsequently, a new opportunity for senior business analysts, focused on streamlining the investment administration and fund accounting functions has been created. This role will involve oversight of the process of technology change and operational improvement, in the context of bringing multiple existing functions together.
The role's responsibilities include:
- Defining, analysing and documenting detailed specifications, business, reporting & process
- Assisting stakeholders with testing and documenting outcomes
- Assisting with issue management with business stakeholders and technology teams
- Facilitating user meetings, interviewing users, developing user cases and researching and resolving issues
- Preparing project reports · Identifying resolving, escalating, and reporting issues, risks and roadblocks for the project
- Assisting with the development and management of and tracking against the project plan
- Co-ordinating with stakeholders and other internal/external partners
- Assisting with the design of testing, implementation and post-implementation activities
Given the nature of the role, within investment operations, prior experience in wealth management, superannuation, and custody operations is preferred. Otherwise related experience specifically in the above industry verticals would be considered. This is a role predominately built around the integration of different business operations and as such, the nature of experience should be aligned to this.
