We are seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to work as part of our corporates team who will play a key role in securing new business and delivering sales with named accounts and within existing clients. This role can be based in Sydney or Melbourne.

The Senior Business Development Manager articulates the company's value proposition under organization thematic and where relevant bring subject matter expertise, structured in alignment with specific propositions. Targeting key decision makers across the corporates segment, the key priorities for this role will be to manage a book of business with new Business Development in white space in order to build increasing value and achieve overall revenue targets along with working in collaboration with go to market teams across legal and tax business units.

About the Role

In this opportunity as Senior Business Development Manager - ANZ, you will:

  • Responsible for selling Thomson Reuters Corporate ONESOURCE solutions to a large base of customers, within a specified territory in Australia.

  • Drive revenue growth through active management of territory accounts, understanding ONESOURCE proposition fitment and building successful proposals to meet customer needs.

  • Maintain deep knowledge of the products/services that Thomson Reuters offers, in alignment with Marketing strategy, campaigns, offers, prices, etc.

  • Be able to present in Executive forums and events representing Thomson Reuters within corporate and government space.

  • Contribute to business growth aspirations in Australian market through managing and creating new business relationships by actively identifying opportunities.

About You

You're a fit for the role of Senior Business Development Manager - ANZ, if your background includes:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an equivalent Business Development role, ideally with tertiary qualifications in Commerce / Business or a related discipline, but all tertiary backgrounds will be considered.

  • Strong relationship building skills and ability to demonstrate a track record in enterprise selling/SaaS.

  • Excellent active listening, negotiation and ability to demonstrate consultative sales skills and relevant sales methodology training (Challenger, Miller Heiman or equivalent)

  • Commercial acumen and ability to identify opportunities to cross sell solutions.
