Job Description
Are you both a meticulous problem solver and an effective communicator that thrives on working with others?Are you passionate about translating intricate datasets into meaningful insights that drive strategic decisions?Do you want to play a key role in helping shape our organisations data driven journey to achieve impactful business outcomes?This is the role for you!As the NRMA’s Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst, you will play pivotal role in helping guide and support the wider Roadside business, working with various stakeholders to translate complex data into actionable insights to help shape strategic and operational decisions.Your main focus will be to ensure continuous growth, optimisation and adaptation through data insights and ongoing support of KPI tracking. Your expertise will contribute to enhancing our operational efficiency, customKey Responsibilities:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable insightsDevelop and maintain robust BI solutions to support data-driven decision-making processesAnalyse complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvementDesign and implement effective reporting tools and dashboards for various stakeholdersProvide strategic recommendations based on data analysis to support business objectivesStay abreast of industry trends and advancements in Business Intelligence and analyticsManage the reporting lifecycle from requirements gathering to translation, design, build, test, visualization, deployment, and documentationEffectively coaching, mentoring and training BI team colleaguesEffective stakeholder management and relationship building to understand goals and priorities within the Roadside business2IC to Data Manager
Qualifications
Desired Skills & ExperienceTertiary-related qualification in computer science, statistics, marketing, or IT-related disciplineMinimum 7 years' experience in an analyst role responsible for reporting, and analysisHands-on experience with GCP, Google Tag Manager, GA, GithubAdvanced SQL skills and experience dealing with large and complex data setsStrong analytical, business acumen, problem-solving skills and a sharp eye for detail.Ability to think broadly and critically about a problem and apply business and commercial acumen to develop a solutionStrong analytical skills and ability to story tell with data to influence stakeholdersStrive for excellence and focused on outcomes, always keeping the customers in mindA self-starter that takes initiative, who works well in a fast-paced, dynamic, team-oriented environmentStrong strategic stakeholder engagement and management skills with highly developed planning and organisation skills Excellent written and verbal communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teamsIf you have the above skills and are looking for a rewarding career, please apply today!
