In this role, you'll:

As an experienced Business Intelligence Analyst looking for an opportunity to use your knowledge to help make a positive difference in our NSW public transport service delivery.

This role will see you undertake business analysis, statistical analysis, and scenario modelling on public transport datasets to provide actionable insights and drive operational initiatives to improve the bus, ferry and light rail service delivery. You will also manage data and reporting requirements, create BI data models, dashboards and reports, and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to supoort decision making.

Other key aspects of the role include conducting investigative work and trend analysis, identifying appropriate performance indicators, providing operator performance analysis by validating, interpreting and translating results into advice to reinforce service contracts and performance strategies, working with business units to address service delivery issues effectively.

This is a temporary, full time position up to June 2025, located at our Elizabeth St, Sydney office. This team offers hybrid, flexible working arrangements.

About you
 

You are an experienced Business Intelligence Analyst looking to apply your skills and knowledge to the improve the experience of our customers using our transport network.

You possess advanced skills in Power BI and Tableau, and exposure to AWS, Azure, Oracle or other platforms would also be beneficial.

Along with the above, you have a quantitative background and the ability to analyse data, identify opportunities and risks, and provide actionable insights, demonstrated ability to present and explain complex technical information to a non-technical audience, and experience in effective communication and presentation skills and collaboratively managing relevant internal and external relationships.
