Job description

Your new role with Bendigo Bank is just a few clicks away.

Closing date: 29th Feb 2024

You are an experienced banker who brings well-developed business lending and credit analysis skills and significant knowledge of Commercial markets to your new role, but it is your proven and proactive approach to business development and the way customers are front of mind in everything you do that motivates and brings you success. You are a great communicator and relationship builder with a knack for sales looking for your next opportunity to grasp with enthusiasm.

Bendigo Bank has a unique position in the Banking and Finance industry: we are a trusted brand with a high Net Promoter Score and the time is right for growth as businesses reconsider the sort of bank they want to partner with. We have reshaped our Business Banking model to provide a better experience for our customers and our employees.

As a SeniorBusiness Relationship Manager, you’ll get to:

  • Manage and grow a commercial portfolio with complex lending typically in the range of $1.5-5 million TAE across a variety of industries: deepen existing relationships and acquire new customers.
  • Connect with your customers through quality conversations to design and deliver innovative, holistic and needs-based financial solutions that will help to grow their business.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders: form partnership relationships with Consumer Regional Managers and branch managers, coach and lead education of Branch teams, build trusted relationships with Credit Risk.
  • Develop and implement localised plans to raise the profile of yourself and the bank in the community, including building strong networks with local industry, business and community groups.

This is a full time, permanent position, based in Adelaide. We offer flexible work options that put our people first, and a hybrid model of two days in a local office per week.

We believe a diverse workforce supported by an inclusive culture is central to our success and we actively encourage applications from those who bring diversity of thought to our business. We support candidate requests for adjustment to accommodate an illness, injury, or disability to equitably participate in the selection process.

So, what are you waiting for? Come and join the better big bank!

Still in two minds?

Please note shortlisting and interviews may take place prior to the advertised close date.

We don’t want you to be missed, so please note that directly emailed CV’s may not be picked up by the system and may risk being missed from the process.
