Ventia is seeking an experience Facilities Manager to fulfill the position of on-site Facilities Manager for the Commonwealth Law Courts Building at 3 Angas Street, Adelaide CBD 5000. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering facilities management services to the whole site, including multiple tenants. You will undertake annual inspections, develop strong business relationships, manage all open work orders and prepare data to contribute to the annual property plans.
Key responsibilities
- Proactively managing subcontractors, including managing their insurances, reviewing their service documentation, reviewing and assessing subcontractor suitability and working with them to ensure they meet the subcontractor assessment criteria.
- Developing, implementing, and monitoring all required maintenance plans for routine works.
- Managing effective communication, negotiation and conflict resolution with subcontractors, clients, and onsite staff.
- Manage contractor access requests in accordance with tenant requirement.
- Managing the Property’s online inductions and delivering facilities management services across corporate customers.
- Actively participate in the Performance and Development Review process.
About you
- Prior experience in Maintenance engineering, facilities management, or asset maintenance.
- Trade background in either Mechanical or Electrical services and project management experience. (Highly regarded)
- Working knowledge of WH&S, work order management and Facilities Management systems.
- Professionally presented with excellent relationship management and communication skills.
- Demonstrated written communication and IT skills.
- An ability to work flexibly and adaptively in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders.
Must be eligible to hold a Security Clearance. As a result of this requirement the applicant must be an Australian Citizen.
