As the Senior Business Support Officer you will:
- Liaise, monitor, negotiate and consult with the CLT and work with unit managers and other departmental officers as appropriate to prepare and analyse budget allocation and coordinate and
review expenditure and revenue forecasts and cash flow projections.
- Co-ordinate and compile information to facilitate the analysis of human resource, budget and financial performance including the on-going monitoring, reviewing and reporting of the human resources and financial information of the division.
- Co-ordinate human resource management activities including, but not limited to, establishment management, workforce and salary reporting and provide administrative assistance as required.
- Provide high level advice to the CLT, management and other key stakeholders and clients on a broad range of strategic and operational human resource management policies, procedures, systems, practises and workforce management issues.
- Manage and co-ordinate responses to stocktakes, audits and other corporate governance requirements as required.
- Provide advice and strategies on effective and efficient use of utilities and facilities including telecommunications and monitor records management and archiving requirements.
- Manage complex workloads, meet deadlines and commitments and complete tasks within a tight timeframe independently or within a team.
- Lead, plan and manage significant projects or groups of activities within the ODDG and provide project support to the division including developing and analysing data for specific initiatives.
- Foster a workplace culture that supports and promotes the interests of First Nations people and actively engage through our work to contribute to better outcomes for First Nations people.
