As the Senior Business Systems Analyst, - ERP you will act as a key stakeholder between the Finance, Operations, and IT teams in the business, as well as other stakeholders, when supporting and administering existing systems. It is essential that you have demonstrated, relevant experience in either implementing or supporting ERP systems, with a good knowledge of multiple processes, for example, ‘Procure to Pay’, ‘Order to Cash’, Manufacturing, Inventory, Accounting etc. You will also have a passion for automation and finding the most efficient and productive way to get things done.
This critical role will suit a collaborative, decisive and experienced Business Analyst who has the ability to drive organizational effectiveness and operations management around manufacturing, quality and product integrity, growth and profitability, our customers and markets, innovation and production development, and the like.
You will enjoy working independently but with the full support of Senior Management and the wider Schlam business.
This position is offered as full-time, permanent based in Welshpool.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver various finance and other Business Systems, process, and BI reporting improvements.
- Work closely with different support vendor’s and lead various process improvement tasks including requirements gathering, gap analysis, design workshops, user acceptance testing, user training, system configuration, data migration, change management and implementation.
- Systems administration of current ERP, MES, and other Business Systems.
- Active involvement in the ongoing change and release process including configuration changes and user acceptance testing.
- Manage communication with business users regarding new releases and upgrades.
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, managing expectations and communicating the solutions effectively.
- Develop and maintain documentation including process mapping, procedures, training manuals, and quick reference guides. Deliver system training to users.
- Other business and financial analysis as required.
To be successful in this role you will possess:
- A minimum of six years’ experience on ERP implementation projects or in supporting ERP systems and a relevant degree in Finance or IT.
- Knowledge of different processes, say, ‘Procure to Pay’, ‘Order to Cash’, Manufacturing, Inventory, Accounting etc.
- Demonstrable, strong track record working in ERP system focused positions on a range of different ERP and business system projects.
- A good knowledge and experience with SQL and strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Understanding business change needs, assessing business impacts of those changes, capturing, analysing and documenting requirements, verifying data, assisting with data migration, and supporting the communications and delivery of requirements with relevant stakeholders.
- User support, user training, upgrades and patching, documentation, workflow and process development, business intelligence reporting and vendor management to drive continual system improvement.
- Leading an information system or module implementation through a project lifecycle to ensure a successful change outcome.
