As an integral part of this Buying team of 10, you will enjoy the variety and skills development including product development, sourcing, procurement, negotiation, and supplier relationship management.
Your responsibilities will include;
Assisting with sourcing & selecting suppliers for a various product areas
Identifying market trends & opportunities
Analysing market trends to make informed product decisions
Collaborate with various internal depts including graphics, logistics, quality compliance & other buying departments.
Applying negotiation skills to secure favourable supplier terms
Working with the Category Manager to develop a diverse & appealing product range
Aligning products with Customer needs & more…
In addition to your previous Buying experience, you will require;
Previous experience in a buying role
Strong analytical & research skills
Excellent verbal & written communication skills
Strong MS Office Excel Skills
Knowledge of product development processes
Willingness to learn new things to develop & grow within the role
