The position could be based in Melbourne or Sydney. An opportunity to be exposed to all aspects of procurement including; supply chain, data analytics, commercial analysis, purchasing systems, category management, tendering & supply agreements.
This high profile, full time role will report to the General Manager of Procurement and will be responsible for the management of key Food and Beverage categories, with a significant spend profile.
In this position you will be responsible for :-
- Cost reductions and value creation through tender processes and supplier management
- Supplier consolidation & rationalisation
- Improvement of supplier safety performance & Develop category plans
- Adherence to internal stakeholder timeframes
- Sourcing of new suppliers & innovative new products
- Management supply agreement KPI’s & supplier performance
- Identify key risks / point of failure within the supply chain & mitigate where necessary
You will be required to work 38 hours/ full time- Hybrid work model.
Who we are looking for:
- Commercially astute
- Previous Category Management / Procurement experience. (F&B experience preferred)
- Previous experience in remote soft services or catering advantageous
- Strong supplier relationships and supplier management skills
- Internal stakeholder management skill capability
- Strong verbal and written communication/ Dashboards/ Word documents/ Spreadsheets
- Proficiency in spreadsheets and analysis
- Ability to work to various tender deadlines
- CIPS highly regarded
