The primary focus of the role will be to support change management for the MyWay+ program - which will deliver the next generation of ticketing, real time passenger information and journey planning solutions for the people of Canberra
Role description:
The Senior Change Manager take responsibility for the end-to-end change management process for the MyWay and other programs.
Responsibilities include:
- Work to develop and deliver end to end change management - from initial evaluation and problem identification through to planning and guiding implementation and embed long term change.
- Conduct analysis; incorporating impact and risk assessments associated with support and engagement at each stage of the change process, with the intention of applying risk mitigation
- Design, develop and implement communications and training associated needed as part of the change process.
- Develop and implement coaching programs to support senior managers and their teams undergoing organisational change.
- Build quality relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate and influence change.
Skills and Experience:
- Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
- Tertiary qualifications or equivalent in Change Management or related disciplines would be highly regarded
- Demonstrated experience in the delivery of complex change management programs, including those that have faced considerable resistance.
- Experience in risk identification and mitigation within a change management context including, but not limited to, human behaviours, non-compliance, financial and resource implications.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills, including communication, negotiations, liaison, facilitation and representation skills - in order to build and sustain collaborative working relationships and networks with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Experience in providing high quality advice and coaching to senior management and executives on change and associated risks.
- Strong knowledge of change management methodologies and frameworks, such as Prosci and ADKAR.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Adept at navigating ambiguity and adapting to changing project requirements
