Senior Civil Engineer

Our Canberra team is working on small, medium and large projects across a range of sectors, including projects in Defence and DFAT. But we have a national team approach to all our projects, which means you will work on projects across Australia, not just projects in the ACT, ensuring you gain a breadth of experience across a diverse range of projects and industries.

As Senior Civil Engineer in our Property and Buildings team you will:Work on some iconic projects that will be challenging but rewardingManage ongoing communication and highly effective professional relationships with clients;Lead and deliver current Civil Engineering projects from inception through to construction in support of technical and commercial standards, and within time constraints and cost budgets;Work in a varied, hands-on role with a leadership angle across design management, superintendency and site surveillanceDelegate and supervise the work of junior engineers, and;Partner with internal stakeholders and a collaborative, national team in a multidisciplinary engineering setting. Ideally you will have:Solid industry experience on Australian Civil Engineering projects, in a consulting environment this is mandatory we need Australian experience. Well versed in effectively delivering multiple, concurrent projects ranging in scale and sector, e.g. commercial, residential, industrial, land development, subdivisions and infrastructure/roads;Strong client relationship management and project management skills;Sound working knowledge of relevant Standards and Codes (AS/NZS 3500, NCC etc.);Proficiency with 12D and Civil 3D (desirable but not essential), and;Drainage software experience preferred.
