Senior Civil Engineer

About the roleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our team based in our Port of Brisbane office. You will be responsible for:

• Preparing and delivering Engineering solutions to clients as per their project requirements
• Prepare and review engineering designs, drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Liase with clients to accept and assess their requirements and ensure these requirements are met within the

required performance requirements * Co-ordinate external consultants (Architects, Surveyors, Hydraulic Engineers etc.) for the incorporation of any required engineering inputs into designs

• Effectively and efficiently undertake engineering design in a computer aided design environment
• Conduct internal audits of the company business management system and ensure that proper design and drafting standards are set and maintained
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technical staff.

To be successful in this role, you will need

• Tertiary qualification in Civil / Structural Engineering
• Preferable 5-10 years industry relevant experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to build relationships with clients and external consultants
• High level ability to understand complex engineering challenges and develop multiple solutions with considerations and assessment of the risk and opportunity of solutions developed
• Attention to detail
