Due to our growing pipeline of interesting and challenging projects, we are looking for an experienced Civil/ Structural Engineer to join our thriving Brisbane Team. In this role you will be expected to support and collaborate on a range of projects with other Technical Disciplines, including (but not limited to) Geotechnics, Transport Advisory, Planning and Approvals, Hydrology & Hydrogeology and Environmental Specialist Services, servicing national and international projects.

Responsibilities

• Working on a wide range of projects, across the Infrastructure, Built Environment Sectors, Manufacturing & Industry, Mining and Resources and Power & Energy Sectors.
• Undertaking a rage of technical tasks, including:
  • Lead Civil Design and Documentation
  • Program and Schedule Development
  • Tender Management
  • Contract Administration and Site Supervision
• Challenge the norm with the objective of continuous improvement.
• Developing your career while achieving excellent outcomes for our clients, developing independent internal and external relationships and contributing to/ managing exciting projects. 
• Assisting and mentoring junior consultants in the business. 

Experience
Outside wanting to join a positive and friendly team, the right candidate should have:

• 6+ years’ experience with tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering. 
• Experience in the management and delivery of multi-disciplinary projects.
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated ability to build relationships.
• Competency in civil design, including the development of design solutions for earthworks, roadworks and drainage and, water and sewer infrastructure. 
• Competency in the design of civil structures is highly desirable.
• RPEQ accreditation is highly desirable.
• Must have an excellent attitude and be capable of working within a dynamic environment.
• Well-developed creative, lateral thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Motivation for continuous improvement and professional development.
