The role
Reporting to the Manager for Transport this role will be heavily involved in assessing and reporting on Road Assets across SE QLD.
You will work closely with government departments and local councils on disaster recovery projects in the roads and highways area. This role will play an active role in project management and coordination both in house, and with contractors, as well as alongside the rest of this dynamic highways team.
With growth plans a huge part of the next 2 years for this blossoming business, this role has a massive career pathway in front of it and would suit someone who is keen to forge ahead in their career within the Road Assets space.
The responsibilities
- Damage assessment and reporting on Road Assets
- Project management for disaster recovery works
- Client meetings and site visits
- Coordination with clients and contractors
The requirements
- 5 years + working on highways and roads projects
- Degree in Civil Engineering
- Experience in Road Assets maintenance
- CPEng / RPEQ or close to gaining
