SalaryOur client are currently looking for a Senior Claims Consultant to join their dynamic team to manage a portfolio of Public Liability claims in addition to providing guidance and mentoring junior staff. - Managing a portfolio of claims from inception to finalisation with autonomy and efficiency
- Provide information and responses in a timely manner to all stakeholders involved (eg; Underwriter, broker, claimant, solicitors, loss adjusters etc.)
- Raise all claim payments in a timely and accurate manner on system
- Ensuring reserves are adequately recorded on each claim
- Ensuring that all claims correspondence or claims related documents are electronically filed according to convention
- Ensuring and crafting responsive, decisive and strategic correspondence to claimants and/or third party solicitors in defending public liability clams or otherwise
- Legal qualifications are highly desired
- Experience working on Public Liability claims in the Insurance industry
- Ability to build strong relationships with clients and third parties
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
